What is Coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between client and coach that supports the client to bridge the gap between where he is at present and where he wants to be. Coaching assumes that the client wants to achieve a life that is balanced, fulfilling, and an expression of his very best Self!

Coaching is not psychotherapy, although it has been used concurrently and successfully with therapy. Emotional healing is not a focus in coaching.

What is the basic philosophy of coaching?

The Coaching Client is seen as one who is capable of achieving his highest potential as a human being. He is not seen as someone "to be fixed." The coach is not the expert but acknowledges that the client is the one who knows what is best for him and is encouraged to discover the answers through accessing his own strengths and inner Wisdom. The client experiences, through the skills of the coach, that reaching goals and achievement come more quickly, and that learning and growth often lead to transformation.

A Coach helps you to identify and set goals in alignment with your values, purpose, and vision, offers you tools, support, and structures, and keeps you focused, learning, and on track until you reach them!

A coach is a skilled professional dedicated to YOU living a life of your choice, a champion of the human spirit and a loving companion for your journey of life.

How does Coaching work?

The first step is to experience an actual coaching session during which you determine whether you want to move forward with a coaching relationship. To request a complimentary coaching session with Jennie, click here.

Once you choose to work with Jennie, you will receive materials that will help you explore your dreams, desires, values and vision for a life you want to live. By completing this material prior to the initial session you will be able to approach the process with clarity and an understanding of how you would like to benefit from the coaching sessions. (This initial session is in person when possible)
Together, you and Jennie will determine the focus of the coaching, define the desired outcomes, and create the structure in which to work.

Coaching sessions take place 3 or 4 times per month by telephone that last from 30-60 minutes. In between coaching sessions, we are available for spot coaching calls and email.
